Liberty Diner is at the corner of Goshen Road and Coliseum Blvd near the I-69.

The service is usually good and the waitresses friendly and one of the few places that are open 24 hours on the weekend. They have a room at the very back where you can have parties for small groups – we had Kyle’s Graduation party.    They also have a small outside patio, which is where we usually eat on Summer evenings.

Kyle hangs out with his “car buddies” on weekends during the Summers as it is one of the few places in town that allows it.  So if you are into cars it is a great place to meet up with other car enthusiasts on a Friday or Saturday evening.

I usually order breakfast foods and they are usually very good and the prices moderate.   However,  in trying some of the other items on the menu it has been a mixed bag.    One time the burgers were great and another time undercooked.  Kyle usually gets a grilled cheese sandwich and fries and he loves it.   One thing that always seems to be delicious is the pie.

Today we met Gloria there and we ordered mozzarella sticks and they were a bit overcooked with the cheese mostly being a hardened glob at one end instead of the crisp outside with a creamy chewy center that one expects in a mozzarella stick.   As we were in a rush and didn’t have time to send them back, otherwise we would have.

I do have to give them credit that the do try to make it right if you indicate there is a problem and it is a place we will continue to visit.
