For Valentine’s Day I wanted to get him a car related book and I purchased the one on the left as it was chocked full of great pictures like a coffee table book, but also had information on the cars in a magazine like format so it is educational as well.
After I gave it to him and he started thumbing through it he went to his room and fetched the book on the right, called “Cars of the Sizzling ’60s: A Decade of Great Rides and Good Vibrations: A Decade of Great Rides and Good Vibrations” that he had gotten his Dad for Father’s Day several years ago and pretty much page for page it was the same book with just a different cover and shorter title.
In looking on Amazon it appears the one I picked up is the 3rd Edition but selling for a much lower price than the two prior editions, just has a different hardcover. I purchased the one on the left for $9.99 at Ollie’s Bargain Outlet but they listed cheaper on Amazon.
It is a good book for anyone who grew up during the 60’s as it is a nostalgic look back to when they used to make cars built to last as well as a vintage car enthusiast or even just a child interested in cars. Albeit by accident, we liked it so much, we bought it twice:)
