This is a creepy looking tree in rural Roanoke that and I think the picture captures the typical feel of the area; the rusty barn on the left and the farm equipment on the right set amid green grass and barren fields typical in April.

Some people will look at this at think how wonderful and peaceful it would be to live in the country, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, freedom from  code enforcement and noise  restrictions as your nearest neighbor is miles away and to breath in the fresh country air.

Other would be living in a “Jeepers Creeper” setting (I can just picture that old church behind the rusty barn),  a wandering cow or chicken in the road, boring mind-numbing isolation and no one to hear you scream if a crazed maniac attacks or worse yet your butcher/neighbor being close enough for you to hearing animals being slaughtered and breathing in the ambiance of manure.
