This is the front entrance to Lincoln National Corp. in downtown Fort Wayne and it takes up a city block.  I worked in HR in the benefits area that handled the 401k for employees briefly in the late 80’s (more toward the back of the building from this view).

My boss was one of the most easy going, nicest people in the world despite being pumped full of hormones as she was going through fertility treatments she and her husband were trying to conceive.    She even invited me back for a co-workers celebration after I left the company and I went, but sadly I lost touch with her.

Years later, I found out that she did end up having two children, but she also ended up passing away from a brain tumor, so I have mixed feeling when I drive past this building.
