Science Central Sign

Last April in 2014 new signs for Science Central with their revamped logo to colored test tubes (and the tubes also mimic the  colorful stacks an the top of the building) were put up on the front of the building and the above one at the entrance.  The new signs  are 8 feet by 20 feet and made of a plastic called Lexan and cost $15,000.

The original logo since it opened in 1995 were lightning bolts incorporated into the Science Central’s name.  Although I haven’t been inside in years, when my son was young we had a membership we went often that was well worth the annual membership and they also reciprocate with other science museums across the country where you can get free or discounted entrance fees.
