I posted this review on Zomato and will post here as well and going forward will probably do so going forward as there are a few users on there that seem a little off their rockers and I don’t want to invite them into my world.

I remember going to Kay’s Pizza as a kid in the 70’s and was pleasantly surprised to see they were still in business in the center of town.  Stepping in there is like stepping into the past as it is still like an old time short order pizza/diner.

They are a small, no frills pizza place with drinks served in cans or pitchers in a plastic tumbler from a cooler in the dining room and basic, no-frills food that is old-school good.  They only have a handful of tables and you walk up to the counter to place your order.

The pizza was as I remember it, smothered in mozzarella cheese with a basic tomato sauce and a flat crust that is not too yeasty and ample toppings.   My guest had a chicken dinner with fries and a  salad for $6 and the chicken was crispy and moist, the fries crunchy and the salad fresh.

if you stop in, be sure to bring cash as they do not accept credit or debit cards.
