I had not heard of Angie Aparo, a singer-songwriter out of Atlanta until a college roommate advised that she was on a street team to help promote his new album and we went to a concert in town and had the opportunity to meet him.  I was impressed with the concert and bought the CD and to date, it is the only CD that I own where I like every track on it.

He had the same Grammy Award winning producer as Pink at the time, Matt Serletic, and seem to be on track to be catapulted to the same fame as Pink but just didn’t happen for whatever reason. I do recall was to have one of his songs, “Hush” in the 2000 movie “Bounce” with Ben Affleck and Gwyneth Paltrow but it ended up getting pulled from the movie (but is still on he soundtrack.

If you have never heard any of his songs, I recommend checking out this particular album as is has a quite a range of types of music; some are bluesy and countryish; others more on the techno side with a few ballads thrown in.
