About Me

Welcome to my Project 365 Picture Blog.  I started this blog a few years ago to start a daily photo diary of people, places and things in our lives.

I am a single parent to a son born in the early 1990’s and I had originally planned mostly pictures of my son to show how he has changed over the years, but as much as he was a camera ham when he was little, he is now a photo bomber.

I have a bachelor’s degree from Ball State University with a double major of Radio, Television and Motion Pictures and Political Science, although though the bulk of my working experience has been in the banking and transportation industry.

We watch a lot of movies, eat fast food too much and gripe about gas prices.   I like to craft, sew, shop, read a lot of blogs, and sometimes cook and bake.  I love babies, cats, nail polish, shoes, and checking out new and interesting stuff.   I am also obsessed with tiny houses and plan on moving into one after my son moves out, although the running joke is I will need a barn to hold all of my stuff as I am a borderline hoarder (but trying to downsize).

My son is a car fanatic and has finished his technical certificate for Auto Body Repair from Ivy Tech.

This is an ad-free blog and for better or worse, but as I use the free option ads may appear from time to time.   My opinions on here are my own based on my experiences.

On places I have dined, I have started contributing to Urbanspoon but I receive no compensation or discounts for doing so; just sharing my opinions and experiences.

Update:  May 2015:  It looks like Urbanspoon must have been sold to Zomato.
